We all know why we should be rooting for the feel-good Saints. Heck, even the Prez is a member of Who Dat Nation. Some part of you has to feel bad for the Colts and their fans. They’re suddenly the bad guys. So, to even things out a little, here from the home offices on East St. are the top 10 reasons why you should root for Indy in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
10. They’ve had to endure their own disaster for years. It’s called the Pacers.
9. All the St. Elmo’s shrimp cocktail America can eat. Just a thought on a way to celebrate.
8. One-Mile Square ain’t no French Quarter, but at least it’s not in metric.
7. A Peyton Manning monument. Scowl and all.
6. If the Saints win, Mardi Gras starts early. If the Colts win, March Madness starts early at NCAA headquarters.
