San Francisco @ Indianapolis -11.5

o/u 44

Everyone knows about the Indianapolis offense. The Colts have the league’s No. 1-ranked passing attack, led by Peyton Manning, who has thrown for almost 1,900 yards and 15 TDs. They have the No. 2-ranked offense (behind only New Orleans), averaging 29 points a week, blah blah blah. But here’s the thing that no one talks about. They also have the No. 2-ranked defense in the NFL, allowing less than 13 points a game (only Denver is better, allowing 11 points a game). Detractors say the Colts have not played any truly talented teams, as their opponents are a combined 11-26. San Francisco’s opponents, meanwhile, are a combined 20-19, and should prove to be a tougher test for Indianapolis. The Colts (6-0) are 4-0 ATS in their last four games as a favorite and are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall. But they are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 as the home favorite and are 1-5 ATS in their last six games when favored by 10.5 or more. The Niners (3-3) are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog, are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record, and are 4-1-2 ATS in their last sevenoverall. 49ers +11.5
