NFL BettingJacksonville @ Tennessee -3

You know things are bad when your 86-year-old owner starts making suggestions on player personnel. Of course, being 0-6 heading into Week 8, should have told you that things were bad already. Such is the life of a Tennessee Titan. And what about being a three-point underdog to a team that is 0-6? A team that you beat by 20 points just four weeks ago. What does that say? That says you must have the inconsistency of the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3). This game could mark the season debut of QB Vince Young as a starter for Tennessee, and will almost assuredly feature a ton of points scored as the Titans rank dead last in the league in both pass defense and overall defense, allowing 33 points a game. But Jacksonville does not travel well. The Jaguars average 11 points less on the road than at home, and are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 in Tennessee. With a winless record, you would expect that the numbers would be lousy for the Titans, and you would be correct. They are 0-5 ATS in their last five games both as a favorite and overall, but they are also 14-5-1 ATS as a home favorite between 0.5 and 3 points, and they are rested, coming off their bye week. Although this game reeks of potential push, if Tennessee is willing to shake things up by giving Young his first start of the season, I am willing to shake things up by giving away three points with a winless team. Maybe VY can push this over to a Tennessee cover. Titans -3
