Mike Martz

 The former Rams offensive coordinator and head coach is back in the NFL.

Mike Martz was hired Monday as the Bears’ offensive coordinator, taking over for the fired Ron Turner.

The former playcaller of The Greatest Show on Turf in St. Louis, Martz will have his hands full getting similar production out of the league’s 23rd ranked offense.

He also has some fences to mend after calling out QB Jay Cutler’s attitude in post-game interviews after his Bears debut.

“He just doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand that he represents a great head coach and the rest of those players on that team. Somebody needs to talk to him,” said Martz on his NFL Network show after a downcast Cutler tried to explain his 4-INT start as a Bear.

Cutler led the league with 26 interceptions and Chicago stumbled to a 7-9 record.
