Jason Campbell

The Redskins will make an offer to their restricted free agent QB next week, übercoach Mike Shanahan decreed.

That allows the team to receive compensation should another team sign Jason Campbell to an offer that’s not matched by the Redskins. The higher the salary offered, the higher the compensation that Washington will receive.

While not commiting to Campbell as a starter, Shanahan said he is still evaluating the team’s QB situation and that he expected Campbell to attend offseason workouts.
