Fantasy FootballEli Manning
What’s wrong with Eli?
In his last two games, the Kid Manning has looked like another New York quarterback, Jets’ rookie Mark Sanchez. Manning has only two touchdowns and four interceptions plus a lost fumble as the Giants have gone from unbeaten Super Bowl favorites to 5-2 conundrums.
Eli had an anemic 47.5 quarterback rating during last week’s 24-17 loss at home to Arizona. He faces another tough test Sunday in Philadelphia as the Giants and Eagles play opening act to the World Series between the Yankees and Phillies.
THE SIGNPOST: For his career, Eli is 117-for-158 passing, good for 1,159 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s had two 300-yard games in Philadelphia and with the Giants needing the win to stay ahead of the Eagles and Cowboys in the NFC East, expect him to produce big.
