Fantasy FootballDonovan McNabb
The Philadelphia Eagles piled it on the Carolina Panthers and paid for their lack of mercy.
Starting quarterback Donovan McNabb left Sunday’s game after fracturing a rib on his lower left side. McNabb scored on a 3-yard run 1:22 into the third quarter to put the Eagles up 38-10, but he was hit hard by Panthers DT Damione Lewis after crossing the goal line. Although McNabb walked off after spending minutes on the ground, he left the game and was replaced by backup Kevin Kolb.
Michael Vick is serving a three-game suspension. If McNabb were to be hurt for an extended, Vick might be pressed into action as the starter.
