The Brady Quinn Era, Part I, is officially over in Cleveland.

Browns coach Eric Mangini said QB Derek Anderson, a Pro Bowler in 2007, will start instead of Quinn Sunday against Cincinnati.
Quinn was named the starter after a training camp showdown with Anderson but has struggled to move the offence in his limited opportunity and was benched at halftime in the Browns’ 34-3 loss in Baltimore. Anderson came in and completed 11-of-19 passes for 92 yards and 3 INTs.

OUR VIEW: Quinn was overly conservative in his first spin as a starter whereas Derek Anderson is more of a risk taker, as his interceptions will attest. The change should benefit Cleveland’s wideouts, specifically Braylon Edwards, who will get more chances for drops with Anderson at the helm.
