Can Brett Favre see the signs?

A Facebook group of Vikings fans has joined the campaign to lure Brett Favre back with a billboard ad in his hometown.

“Hey No. 4, do Minnesota fans love you and want you back next year? You Brettcha!” reads the message near the 40-year-old quarterback’s home in Hattiesburg, Miss.

The online group has quickly grown to more than 122,000 members and sports a separate website to collect funds.

It’s one of two ads on U.S. 98 asking Favre to return to Minnesota for the 2010 season.

“Dear Brett, Deanna and family: Thanks for coming to Minnesota. We’d love to have you back. Vikings fans 4-ever,” reads another message, purchased by Twin Cities radio station KFAN, which broadcasts the team’s games.
